St Annes United was set up in 2009 by a group of friends who had always played football for different teams but never together. The aim was for lads who were friends but who couldn't socialise due to work or family commitments to able play football together on a weekly basis. The team comprised of lads from various areas like Artane, Coolock, Eastwall, Donaghmede but the majority come from Raheny and Clontarf.


The club is now in its second season and with 2 teams and over 40 players registered at the club, St Annes United is really taking off. Both teams train twice a week and play matches on a Saturday afternoon in St Annes Park. The first team are registered to play on pitch 17 while the second team play on pitch 33.
The first team is managed by Johny Jackson and the seconds are managed by Anthony Payne and Neil Emerson.


St Annes United philosophy is that all players are welcome at the club. The ambition of the club is to play attractive football and to just enjoy playing the game. We encourage players to play football and have fun aswell as this is the main reason we all play football.


The club has a committee whose members are fully committed and dedicated to ensuring all players well being is loo ked after and the clubs image is promoted accordingly.
